VINTAGE LARGE HAND DONE EYELET & EMBROIDERY COLLAR
When laid flat, this pre 1920's hand made collar measures 13-1/4" across and a bit over 20" top to bottom. It is in very good shape, with the exception of a very small pin hole ( see photo ), and would be an easy repair; this in no way detracts from the beauty of this piece. It is white in color, and the thread is moist and shows no dry rot. This collar has been recently washed and pressed. The eyelet work is skillfuly done and so is the raised floral satin stitches. It has a beautiful fall and weight. Would look lovely basted on a velvet dress, framed, or simply, to all to your collection.
