VINTAGE COFFEE CUPS

EMBASSY SERIES by LIBBEY*

 

Made during the late 1930’s from Toledo, Ohio, The New England Glass Co, by well known designers and artists Teaque & Fuerst hired on by Owens-Illinois in 1936  These 4 modern time, strong and bold in design double knop or bobbin stemmed specialty coffee cups with little to no wear are from the Embassy Series , in the Embassy Green color. Each cup measuring from base are  6” tall on a domed, very smooth, 2 1/4” in diameter base, marked with scrolled L. Carefully and equally balanced by the handle the cup itself measures 4” tall with a gold trimmed, top  rim diameter of 3”. Each cup weighs approx. 12.3 ounces with no issues. Please refer to pictures as part of the description.

 

Wonderful drinking glasses to enjoy a “specialty” coffee in! Perfect for the collector of Libbey Glass!
