VINTAGE LOVELY HAND DONE FRAMED FLORAL BOUQUET NEEDLEPOINT
This skillfully hand embroidered 1940's or so needlework was done by an accomplished needle woman. A canvas was used as a foundation, and the stitches are worked with wool thread. The foundation was usually held taut in a frame as the stitches were worked in at 11 stitches per inch. The condition is excellent with no fading, no stains, and the colors are vibrant. MEASUREMENTS: The finished needlework on canvas measures 22-3/4" x 17-3/4". The gold frame is 1-1/2" wide. This pristine needlepoint is ready for any project.
I have listed and will be listing many similar needlepoint pieces from this wonderful estate.
I also have a nice inventory of similar needlepoint in the NEEDLEPOINT section of MY EBAY STORE.
