Up for your consideration is a wonderful vintage high quality designer ribbon patchwork folk vest made in Mexico by the designer Girasol.

Magnificient intricate sewing. see pictures.

Black cotton base with elaborate ribbon patchwork in a multitude of bright vivid colors.

Lined with black satin.

Original label reads:  "Girasol Made in Mexico 100% cotton  Dry clean only size S"

Size S Measurements of vest are:  across back at shoulder is 20"  length is 22" and waist is 36".

Condition is excellent.  NO rips, tears or stains! No fading or wear.  Looks unworn.

Vintage: has been in my costume box for 10 years.  Originally bought at an estate sale. Actual age is unknown. However, I found a jacket by the same designer on the internet for over $100.00 at an antique site with a date of 1960 on it.

Beautiful piece.  Excellent addition to a costume collection. Or to wear now with today's retro fashions.
