VINTAGE OLD WORLD RENAISSANCE WOMAN NEEDLEPOINT PILLOW

From my “Old World Masters” group of vintage needlepoint pillows I am pleased to offer you a beautiful reproduction of a renaissance woman painting. Unfortunately I don’t know the artist so if anyone out there does; I would appreciate the information and will add it to the description. At first I thought this was Mary with a halo around her head but then realized I was mistaken.  The vintage wool hand stitched needlepoint is in excellent condition and measures 12” x 16”. The colors are beige, cream, rust, blue, orange, burgundy, pink, cocoa, brown, white and more on a brown background. Around the needlepoint I have an elegant rust ball and bead trim with a rust, tan and sage header. It is on Ralph Lauren brown and copper paisley velvet. The pillow is finished off with a brown cord knotted in the corners and 2 beautiful beaded Maltese crosses on top corners. The back is done in brown mohair velvet. The pillow measures approx. 19” x 21”. There is a zipper closure for your convenience and a down and feather insert for a plush look and feel. The entire pillow is lined for extra durability. This pillow was lovingly designed to be past down to future generations. U.S bidders add $15.00 for shipping and delivery confirmation.  For fabric, I try to ship priority when possible utilizing the flat rate box, sometimes it doesn’t work out and I have to use a bigger box.
