Up for sale we have a vintage mahogany arm chair. The arm chair is made in the stylish Queen Anne look.The top rail is made in the yoke-shaped style.The stiles come down and flair out as the back legs. The chair has a nice wide all around skirting.The front legs are restrained more in the straight leg Chippendale style. I noticed that the left back leg has a repair. I believe this was possibly restored years back. The seat is a slip-in and has been recovered. I also noticed some one has set in a screw to hold the side stretcher. This looks to have been done way before the back leg was fixed. The legs have their original brass casters. The chair stands 38 inches high and is 28 3/4 inches from arm edge to arm edge. The seat sits at 18 inches. The arm height from the floor is 27 3/4 inches. The seat measures 21 5/8 inches wide.
