VINTAGE PORCELAIN OLD DUTCH CLEANSER ADVERTISING SIGN

Offered for sale is an original porcelain OLD DUTCH CLEANSER sign. This is the real deal- a highly sought-after classic vintage advertising/country store item from the 1920s timeframe. This item was purchased by me for my collection approximately twenty-five years ago, after an extensive search. This item measures 20” in height and 14” in width. As you can see, the five color graphics are outstanding, and the porcelain has a thick relief. This item is in great overall condition. As depicted in the photos, there are chips at two of the eight mounting holes. None of these holes appear to have ever had grommets installed in them. There are also some edge chips on three sides of the sign. Finally, there is one small and one tiny chip on the face of the sign. There are several spots on the face where the porcelain has a matte finish compared to the remainder of the sign. The bottom border of the sign is imprinted with “B.S. CO., 166 N. STATE ST. CHI,, & BEAVER FALLS, PA. This sign is in “as found” condition. This item displays really well, and it will make a great addition to any porcelain sign, country store or advertising collection.
