For your consideration today is this great old silver vase/loving cup. I am not quite sure exactly what it was used for, so if anyone has more info on this piece I'd love to hear from you! I just love the raised florals around the base, the nice thick handles and the great aged/time~worn patina on this! It is not for the perfectionist as it does have one small shallow "ding" and a slight "dent" at the top rim and bottom base. I love the look for this oldie and think it would look great with other silver collectibles and to use for your favorite flowers. It measuresjust over 5 1/2" tall, 8" handle to handle, 3 3/4" across the top and 4 1/2" across the base. I'm not 100% sure what type of metal this is ~ it could be silverplate over copper ~ or some other type of metal. Marked, "Queen City Silver Co., Cinn., OH, Trade Mark" and the numbers "37 - 30".
