ITEM:  VINTAGE ROUND WOODEN BOWL / BOX /  WITH LID

CONDITION: GOOD

THE ITEM YOU ARE BIDDING ON IS A VINTAGE ROUND WOODEN BOWL / BOX /  WITH LID.  THIS ITEM IS VERY UNIQUE.  IT BELONGED TO MY GRANDPARENTS, BUT I'M UNSURE WHEN OR WHERE THEY ACQUIRED IT.    THIS WOODEN BOX OR BOWL IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH NO MAJOR IMPERFECTIONS IN THE WOOD.  THERE ARE A COUPLE SMALL STAINS IN THE WOOD FROM WEAR OVER THE YEARS.  TURNING THE BOWL OVER THERE IS A SMALL HOLE DRILLED IN THE CENTER OF THE BOTTOM.  THE HOLE DOES NOT GO ALL OF THE WAY THROUGH THE WOOD INTO THE BASIN OF THE BOWL.  I TRIED TO PROVIDE THE BEST PICTURE I COULD, BUT IN ALL HONESTY, THE LID IS NOT AS DARK AS IT APPEARS IN THE PICTURE.   IT APPEARS AS IF THE BOWL HAS SLIGHTLY WARPED OR CHANGED SHAPES OVER THE YEARS BECAUSE THE LIP OF THE LID DOES NOT FIT PROPERLY INTO THE LIP OF THE BOWL OR BOX.   THE APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS OF THIS ITEM ARE:  4" DIAMETER AT LARGEST POINT AND 2.25" HEIGHT.    THIS AUCTION OFFERS FREE SHIPPING TO 48 OF THE 50 STATES IN THE USA.  SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS.
