VINTAGE SCULPTURED CHESS BY GANINE GOTHIC SET 1947-1957

This is a very nice vintage complete salon Gothic Chess Set in the original box. Designed by Peter Ganine and dated 1947 - 1957, No. 1475 Salon Edition. Made by the Pacific Game Company, North Hollywood, California. The chess pieces and board are in very nice condition. One corner of the box lid shows some wear and is a little frayed. The chess pieces have felt bottoms, they are weighted, and the King measures 3.5 inches tall. Each chess piece is marked "1947 - 1957 USA".
