VINTAGE STAINED GLASS HANGING LIGHT FIXTURE

THIS IS ANOTHER ONE OF OUR VERY NICE LIGHT FIXTURES WE HAVE FOUND TO ADD BEAUTY TO YOUR HOME, SO LOOK CLOSE!!

This is a very nice vintage Stained Glass Hanging Light Fixture. The fixture is mint condition with no chips or cracks in the glass. All of the lead is in great condition and very strong. The fixture is 12" across and is 10" high. It is a golden yellowish color with also a cream color. 4 of the panels have floral designs on them. I can't tell how they were applied and don't know if they are handpainted or not. The fixture is a very old fixture and you can tell this by the heavy lead work done around the stained glass and the wiring is of the old type. The wiring is very good and no problems there and there is no reason to rewire this fixture. I would suggest a new chain and a new canopy kit that you can pick up at Home Depot. Lowes or any of your local hardware stores. I think Wal Mart may ever have the canopy kits. I have had people in areas that didn't have any hardward stores close to them and I have gotten the canopy kits for them and just charge them what they cost me and ship the kits to them. I really think some of them went and looked and didn't know what they were looking for. I get mine at Home Depot and they keep them where they keep all the lamp parts in the lighting department. Don't know the exact age of this fixture but feel it came from the 50's or 60's.  Fixture in excellent shape and all soldering and glass very strong.
