THE AGE OF THIS PIECE IS QUESTIONABLE.   THE ENGRAVING AND MANUFACTURE IS ALL HAND DONE, BUT IT APPEARS TO BE FAIRLY NEWISH.   I THINK IT HAS A RHODIUM OR PLATINUM PLATING.   IT IS HALLMARKED "STERLING" AND HAS A MAKER'S MARK THAT LOOKS LIKE A WHIRLEY GIG.

THE PIN MEASURES 1-7/8" X 1-3/8" AND HAS A VERY SECURE LOCKING PIN MECHANISM.   IT WEIGHS A TOTAL OF 12.6 GRAMS

THIS PIN IS IN EXCELLENT VINTAGE (?) CONDITION AND COMES DELIVERED IN A GIFT BOX READY FOR A BOW
