COLLECTABLE VINTAGE STYLE OLDER CAST IRON LARGE COW DOOR STOPPER. THIS WAS FROM MY GRANNIES FARM IN ROME, GEORGIA. I AM SURE IT IS ONLY ABOUT 11- 15 YEARS OLD, FROM WHAT I REMEMBER. SO IT IS NOT A VINTAGE PIECE. I SEE NO MAKERS MARKS, AND I DO NOT KNOW ACTUAL AGE. SHE HAD THIS OUT ON HER COVERED PORCH. IT HAS SOME NATURAL AGING FLAWS AS LISTED: THE BACK HAS SOME SURFACE RUST AS SHOWN IN PICTURE 3. THE FRONT HAS SOME SMALL SURFACE RUST, COMING THROUGH THE PAINT, AS SHOWN IN PICTURE 4. ALL PAINT IS ON, AND THERE ARE NO CHIPS OUT OF THE METAL. THE COW MEASURES: 13 " WIDE AND 9" HIGH. METAL IS ABOUT 1/2 " THICK. THIS ITEM WILL WEIGH WHEN WRAPPED WELL: 7 1/2 POUNDS, ( IT IS A HEAVY PIECE), AND WILL BE SHIPPED FAST BY UPS ONLY (CHEAPER SHIPPING COST WITH UPS ON HEAVY PIECES).
