THIS IS A REALLY NICE SET OF PORCELAIN SET BEARS CALLED "THE THREE BEARS LIVED IN A LITTLE HOUSE". THEY ARE MINT IN THE ORIGINAL BOX. ( A COUPLE OF POKES HERE AND THERE. I THINK THAT THIS IS A REALLY RARE SET.

THEY ARE PAPA BEAR, MAMA BEAR AND BABY BEAR. THE BACKGROUND IS A SHEET OF PAPER THAT IS DESIGNED TO BE THEIR HOME. THE BEARS ARE TIED INTO THE BOX AND ARE SECURE

ALL OF THE ORIGINAL LABELS ARE STILL ATTACHED INCLUDING THE MADE IN JAPAN LABEL GIVING THE STOCK NUMBER ON THE SIDE OF THE BOX. THE LITHOGRAPH ON TOP OF THE BOX IS ALSO TERRIFIC. IT IS PUNCHED UP A BIT AT THE NECK OF PAPA BEAR WHERE HIS NOSE IS ON THE INSIDE OF THE BOX. THE SIDES OF THE BOX ARE DENTED IN A BIT, BUT I THINK THESE WERE MADE IN THE 1930'S AND HOW THEY SURVIVED I DO NOT KNOW, BUT THEY DESERVE A NEW HOME WHO WILL TAKE CARE OF THEM, MINTY MINTY BEARS. THE BOX MEASURES 5 5/8" BY 6 1/4".
