SUPERB VIRGIN STATUE BISQUE PORCELAIN FLOWER CROWN XIXC
Superb Antique French bisque porcelain statue 8 inches tall of the Virgin wearing a crown of flowers in her hair.
She is circa 1880 - 1900 and she is at least one hundred years old. She comes from Lourdes France.
The statue depicts the aspect of the Virgin usually depicted on Miraculous Medals and in the apparition
of the Virgin to Saint Bernadette Soubirius in the grotto of Lourdes .
Signs of age and usage including but not limited to small bisque fissures
that are present throughout the piece as shown in the detailed photos below and
she is missing one hand and the fingers of the other hand were broken and repaired as shown in the photos.
She is in good condition and is exactly as shown in the photos below.
Ancien Statuette en Biscuit, Vierge avec une couronne des fleurs, très vielle, hauteur 20 cms.
Je n'en connais pas l'ancienneté exacte;
fin XIXème ou début XXème, années 1880-1900 environ peut-être.
Elle est manqué une main et les doits de l'autre main ont ete cassé et reparée.
Beaucoup des petites egreneurs sinon bon état. Pas signé; il n'y a pas de marque de fabrique.
