MANGO LASSI
Have you ever looked at the skin on the mango?
The various shades of coral, red, amber, green and yellow remind me of a
beautiful collage. There is a glow about the skin that attracts me when I pass
the fruit aisle.
When I see the mango, I dream about the sweet taste of a cold, icy Mango Lassi
after a spicy Indian meal. So tasty!
What is lassi? It is a traditional South Asian beverage originating in India
that is made by blending yogurt with water, salt, and spices until frothy.
Yogurt sweetened with honey is used in rituals. Typically, mango is used for the
main flavor…
This auction, reminds me of such a delightful treat! I used a peachy, mango-like
color for the base beads. Once I realized that the 'olive greens were prominent
in the Raku frit, I decided to pair the main beads with Wasabi spacers. I did
this to emulate the gorgeous colors of the natural mango. Including mango coin
spacers and tiny silver rondrels with tiny vertical lines found throughout the
circumference of these beads, this auction offers enough beads for an entire
jewelry set!
As a bonus, I included two small Raku round beads, these would be perfect for
earrings! The overall look of this set is natural. It is slightly etched and the
shape is free form and large.
I am quite happy with this set! I am in love with the vivid colors, the organic
texture. Please feel free to have a look!

All Vivian's Vision beads
are pressed and flame polished. Once finished in the flame my pieces are placed
in my digitally controlled kiln to anneal overnight. They are inspected, cleaned
and packaged carefully for your enjoyment. These beads are just waiting to
enhance your original designs!
Pictures of these beads
were taken in outdoor light, but please be aware that differences in computer
monitors may make the beads appear slightly lighter or darker on your computer
than in "real life". Although all my beads are carefully kiln-annealed for
added strength and durability, they are created from glass, and like all glass
they can chip or break if dropped/thrown/crushed or otherwise abused. These
beads are NOT suitable for small children, as they may pose a choking hazard if
swallowed.
As
always, Vivian's Vision offers FREE USPS SHIPPING on all beads via USPS
First Class mail within the continental
U.S. - I do not ship to Canada or internationally. I am not responsible for
service transit time. All beads come from a smoke & pet free home environment!
Please note that the PayPal is the only
accepted form of payment. All winning bidders are required to pay within 3 days
of auction end; all non-payments shall result in relisting and negative
feedback. All winning auctions are shipped within 3 business days of payment
receipt.
Customer satisfaction is
my goal!
Thank you for looking!
