Here is a nice, vintage trumpet. I do not play this instrument but I will try to describe it the best I can. It is a 2-tone in color...brass and silver. On the horn it is embossed: CONN and has the 3 band members and the shooting stars. The horn has a diameter of approx. 4 1/2". On the end of the mouthpiece pipe it says: *DIRECTOR*. It has the SERIAL No. P-59461 JAPAN, which I'm pretty sure places it from the year 1971. Altogether (without the mouthpiece on) the trumpet measures approx. 19 1/2" long. It has the mother-of-pearl tops on the valves. All the valves go up/down easily. All the slides move in/out. All the braces are intact-they sort-of 'move'. It has no dents or dings...has some minor brass wear. There is a spot on one of the lower slides for a finger pull...the pull is not in the case (easily replaceable). There is a mouthpiece with it, it says: VINCENT BACH CORP 7C. It's all neatly packed in a hard CONN carry case...the case is lined with a padded, black vinyl material (no musty smell). Latches work fine and carry handle intact. Would make a nice trumpet for someone...at GREAT SAVINGS!! Buyer to pay shipping-accept Visa/Mastercard/Discover. No Paypal.
