This auction is for a wonderful vintage maxi dress.  This dress is made of a lightweight, almost sheer gauze fabric with a small floral print.  The dress is fully lined with a stiff taffeta like fabric.  The sleeves are not lined for a nice effect.  The cuffs are trimmed with ruffles.  This dress has a high empire waist.  The collar is a stand up style trimmed in ruffles.  There is a satin bow at the neck and there are satin buttons trimming the slim fitting bodice.  This dress has a high wide waist trimmed with ruffles.  The skirt is a long lenght and it is full.  This dress is not labeled for maker.  There is a Union Made label.  There is no fabric label.    The dress is in great vintage condition, the fabric shows no wear!  Don't miss this great retro vintage find! 

 

This dress is not labeled for size, my guess would be 2/4...  Please check actual measurements against clothing that fits.  These measurements were taken flat.  The dress measures 16" across the shoulders, 17 1/2" across the chest and 14" across the waist.  It is 20" across the hips.  This dress is 56" long and the sleeves measure 32 1/2" from the back center of the collar to the sleeve end.
