VTG BEADED BLACK WOOL JERSEY DEEP V BACK Longsleeve S/M

Very sexy black wool jersey cocktail hour dress, in near perfect condition from the ‘80s.  Beautifully embroidered in neon pink and orange and encrusted with beads and sequins in teal, hot pink and gold, this is a  striking and daring little dress sure to attract admiring glances!  The front has a high scoop neckline ringed in green bugle beads.  The geometric embroidery and beadwork continue down the front to slightly below waist level.  The risqué back is cut in a deep V, lined in beads with heavy sequin work and embroidery culminating in a Rising Sun abstract below the small of the back.  This dress is super-figure-defining!

 

As is common with vintage items, the labels are removed, so please refer to these measurements in determining fit:

n      18” underarm to underarm, front

n      37” length

n      23” tapered long sleeves

n      36” circumference at bottom

n      14.5” across front at narrowest point (shapely!)

 

This is a vintage garment that has been worn.  I detect a few loose beads that can be repaired, and 2 very small (moth?) holes on the top back shoulder.  The beads are easily tightened, and the holes can be repaired or ignored as they are inconspicuous.  I always recommend dry cleaning before wearing.  This is a delightful little dress and you’re sure to enjoy!
