VTG French New Wave DIVA film POSTER indie punk cinema

Up for Auction is this awesome ORIGINAL vintage 80’s French film poster from the movie “DIVA”.  The copyright is 1982.  This is a popular “cult” film item and would be a cool décor item for any New Wave Euro Cinema Collector!  The poster shows some overall signs of age as shown in the photos with light abrasions, edge dings and very slight fading, however, still presentable enough to be hung and viewed.  The poster is mounted on foam board.  I’m thinking this could have been a promo poster from a local video rental store in the 80’s.

Part of the writing below the artwork on the poster reads:

Irene Silberman Presents “DIVA”, A film by Jean-Jacques Beineix, Adapted from the novel by Delacorta, Screenplay by Jean-Jacques Beineix, …….
