Up for BUY IT NOW is this vintage Walter (Margaret) Keane BIG EYE

 print of original painting “NO DOGS ALLOWED”.  Circa late 1950’s / early 60’s.

The print itself is in fantastic condition with no surface scratches or spotting, also little to no fading because for decades it was in a low light room. Original backing with ink stamp of maker. Brass label on frame. 

 The linen-like border adhered to the frame has some age markings as shown in the close up example, this does not detract from the overall piece and is one of the characteristics that often goes along with framed pieces from this era.

Re: (Margaret)

Margaret Keane’s name is listed in brackets because as public knowledge her ex-husband Walter would sign and sale her paintings as if he had painted them when in fact she had painted them.  Finally she was able to kick him to the curb and continues to paint in her marvelous style to this day relishing all the glory under her name.

Measures 27 ½” tall by 15½” wide framed.
