Please Read This Before You Purchase ANY Exposure Unit on the Market: Please understand that Ryonet's X-Vactor Vacuum Exposure Unit is by far the best bang for your buck on eBay or anywhere for that matter. Over the years, we have sold hundreds of these units and our customers are having outstanding success with them! Ryonet's exposure units are superior because they are manufactured by Ryonet and are built with top quality parts such as extruded aluminum. Please be aware that competing exposure units are usually made of heavy steel that rusts or cheap wood that warps. All the components of our exposure units are UL certified! Our unit measure's 48x32" and will expose up to 25x36" screens. Most of the competing models in this price range only expose 23x31" screens. Ryonet's X-Vactor screen printing exposure unit exposes with 8 bulbs, but also has 2 built in yellow lights that are "light safe" and allow you to use your unit as a film inspection table. This feature is an X-Vactor exclusive that you will not find with any other exposure unit on the market! FREE SHIPPING! Original Product Description Starts Here: Ships FREE anywhere in the Contiguous US! With thousands of our standard exposure units in the market, we decided it was time to take the next step and make a quality affordable vacuum exposure unit. One of the most important factors to an optimal exposure is positive contact between the glass, film, and screen. While this can be done manually with compression using weight and foam, a vacuum efficiently extracts all air between the screen frame, film, and glass to insure an extremely close positive contact. Not only is positive contact easily achieved, but the screen remains light safe under the black neoprene blanket. Add to the vacuum blanket a digital timer, two light safe inspection bulbs, and this unit is as user and time friendly as they come. With 240 watts of high powered UV light the X-Vactor is one of the most powerful fluorescent style exposure units on the market. This unit will expose most dual cure emulsions in approximately 3 minutes and photopolymer emulsions in under a minute.
Includes an Electronic Analog Timer The X-Vactor includes a highly accurate electronic analog timer. Its lit with LED's and is very easy to use. You have the option to upgrade to a digital timer for only $100 (by phone). ![]() The X-Vactor control panel has 4 easy to use key functions. These 4 controls allow you to easily operate your exposure unit for accurate multi facet use. Light Inspection Bulbs Two functions, one unit! Two light safe inspection bulbs located on either end of the exposure glass provide bright 100% UV blocked yellow light throughout the glass. This allows your exposure unit to double as a film and screen inspection table. Touchup or splice films, insure proper image alignment on your screen, and inspect for pin-holes without straining to see what you are doing or worrying about light contamination. Standard light tables this size run upwards of $400 so by combining light safe bulbs with the X-Vactor you've doubled your function and saved money! ![]() Bulbs: Exposure unit bulbs are like tanning bed bulbs, they will slowly loose UV output as they are used. This can be compensated by slightly increasing your exposure time as the bulbs dim. We highly recommend that you always have an exposure calculator in order to determine the optimal exposure time for your emulsion, stencil thickness, and bulb output. We recommend replacing your bulbs when your exposure time has increased more than 25-30% from the original settings. Replacement bulbs are available from Ryonet. Replacement vacuum blankets are available from Ryonet. Bonus: Pre-Registration Template Transparency Included! (an $80 value) The pre-registration template includes a FREE comprehensive video that demonstrates how to get the consistent results using easy methods. Starting with artwork and film output, we'll show you how to layout your film for optimal exposure and press alignments results. Moving to the darkroom we'll place the film onto the screen using the Pre-Registration Template. When it's all said and done you'll see how quick and easy setup becomes on the press. The Pre-Registration Template and procedures can easily double or triple your performance in the darkroom and press setup. Throw away the tape measure and t-square and realize an easier path in registration . |
