This table works in wet and dry machining environments.

This vacuum table represents a combination of highly efficient processing with top-class materials. The cover plate consists of massive aluminum, the base plate from hard plastics. This makes for an extremely rigid sandwich construction that has many advantages.

Work pieces can be clamped by using additional clamping threads that one could not otherwise be clamped with a vacuum table. To do this, you can remove the suction nozzle from the clamping hole and an M6 thread is then freely available. After work is completed, the suction nozzle can be screwed in again and the hole reset to its original position.

This is ideal solution to clamp almost all materials that are processed by manual means on CNC machines or automatically. Typical areas of use are electronics, electrical engineering, sinking, model making – simply every form of machining. No matter whether on CNC milling machines, surface grinding machines, laser cutting machines or simply when used in measurement engineering. In contrast with a magnet clamping plate, non-magnetic materials such as aluminum, brass, copper or plastic sheets can also be clamped here. Operation can be completed via practically every vacuum pump. Attempts with a normal vacuum cleaner promise great success; a connecting adapter is included in the delivery contents.

The retention force is proportional to the covered area, the friction coefficient and the differential pressure.

A holed rubber mat is included in the delivery contents with the aim of raising the friction coefficient.

At the same time, this is used to protect the vacuum plate, if work pieces are milled through. Drilled rubber mats are wear parts and are inexpensive to purchase.

This vacuum plate allows for wet processing with non-detergent cool lubricants customary in the trade. However, one should ensure that in a case where a significant amount of fluid is used, a liquid separator which can be delivered as an option, is used between table and vacuum pump

The vacuum plate should be dressed after assembly in order to achieve the greatest possible degree of accuracy in this clamping. For this reason it is useful to choose a vacuum table that is a little bit smaller than the machine’s traverse path in order to be able to dress as far as the edge Of course, we also deliver pre-dressed vacuum tables on request.
