A rare Vari-Vue Pictorial Productions Inc. flicker postcard in a style inspired by Peter Max. This postcard is part of Vari-Vue's "Passionate Plea" series, an early series that was made with a very thick lenticular lens. Looks fabulous matted and framed---especially in a grouping!
Size 4 X 6 inches. Excellent condition. Some of the postcards have a standard postcard divided back with a place for a postage stamp, the Vari-Vue name, etc., but many are blank on the reverse side---apparently uncompleted in the manufacturing process.
I purchased this postcard and all our Vari-Vue items at the company's bankruptcy sale in 1986 and have had the items in storage since then.
