"Lucious Lilacs" - Tangee's Classic Creations - Venetian Victorian Beadwork.   Gorgeous handmade Lilacs is hand made in the Venetian Victorian method with tiny beads strung and woven on wire to form  a delicate cascade of flowers.  

New  Beads and New Findings. Completely hand assembled. This brooch measures 3 1/2  inches  (9 cm)  by 2 1/4 inches  (5.5 cm) by 1 1/4   ( 3 cm). Although delicate in design, this brooch is fairly heavy and would be wonderful worn on a suit jacket, coat or at the neck of a blouse, or on an evening dress.

This gorgeous one-of-a-kind lilac blossom brooch took 8 to hours to complete. The lilac cascading blossoms are individually formed by making individual small flowers that are joined together to make each lilac cascade. Then, the leaves are added to form the brooch. Perfect for Mother's Day. The pain-staking Venetian  Victorian method of beadwork involves stringing tiny seed beads on wire to form the blossoms and leaves. Each flower is gently shaped to perfection . The brooch has a safety clasp keeping it securely in place when worn. Fragile appearing and life-like, this jewelry comes from a tradition of jewelry making that dates back hundreds of years to Italy, France and England during the reign of Queen Victoria. The art is experiencing a revival today by various artist, myself included. This is an original work.
