Organic Venus Fly Trap Extract - 2 Oz.
Our Venus Fly Trap herbal extract is made from fresh organically-grown Dionaea Muscipula plants in a base of grain alcohol and filtered water.
The Venus Fly-Trap Plant (Dionaea Muscipula) is a species of carnivorous plants containing a powerful immune modulator named "naphthoquinone plumbagin." Published scientific research indicates that plumbagins in low doses are potent stimulators of macrophage activity1, anti-mutagenic2, elevates HDL3 (the good cholesterol), and prevented bacterial resistance to antibiotics in animal studies4.

Metabolic effects: Increases or normalizes body temperature (unpublished anecdotal reports).
Adult Dosage Guidelines:
- Sublingual - full strength: Take 1/2 teaspoon (about 2 dropperfuls) and place directly under the tongue. Hold in mouth for 2 to 3 minutes or until completely absorbed. You may drink water or juice 5 minutes after placing the extract in mouth but not before. Repeat dose 3 to 5 times daily or as directed by a health care professional.
- Sublingual - half strength: Mix 1/2 tsp. water with 1/2 teaspoon of extract and hold in mouth till absorbed. Repeat dose 3 to 5 times daily. Note on sublingual use: Recent experience has shown that absorbing Venus Fly-trap extract under the tongue is at least 3 times more effective than mixing it with water and drinking it. Apparently, stomach acid or enzymes inactivate some of its active properties.
- Note for first time users: Start off with 1/4 tsp. or 1 dropperful and gradually increase to an optimum dosage.
- Maintenance: One dropperful twice daily sublingually.
- Complementary: Colonies/enemas, Naltrexone, NK911, IP6, MethylB12, Soil-Based Organisms, Lemon/Extra Virgin olive oil drink, marine lipids, raw garlic, raw vegetable juices, cooked asparagus, castor oil packs over liver area, Macrobiotic diet, sea vegetables, Salads with parsley, beet greens, kale and dark green vegetables added, cold processed whey proteins, gelatin, digestive enzymes.
- What to avoid: soda, processed`sweets, deep fried foods, foods fried in vegetable oil. Cook foods only at low temperature with water (simmer or use a Crock Pot).
- Indications: Federal law prohibits the sale of most botanicals (including Venus Fly Trap) if health claims are made for treatment of disease. Persons with cancer, HIV, CFIDS, MS, Lyme's, Candidiasis or herpes should consult a Physician or health care practitioner knowledgeable in the use of botanical extracts for more information on the use of this product.
