The Printing House of Leo Hart, Rochester, NY 1931. Limited Edition. This edition of Venus and Adonis by William Shakespeare has been produced under the personal direction of Leo Hart at his Printing House in Rochester, New York from the Oxford University Press. The illustrations are by Rockwell Kent and the typography by Will Ransom. The edition is limited to twelve hundred and fifty signed copies of which the first seventy five are printed on English handmade paper and eleven hundred and seventy five on Hand & Arrows. This copy is Number 987 (of 1255). Signed by Rockwell Kent on the limitation page in black ink. The Signature is 100% Guaranteed Authentic by the publisher. Book Condition: Very Good+, spine leather with cloth boards, large format 8" x 11", shelf wear at the spine, book is tight and square, clean endpaper and pages, beautiful illustrations throughout. The dust jacket is not present.
