Vermont $5 1800's Bank of Windsor SINGLE NOTE SHEET!
This is a most interesting piece of Vermont paper. Part of a $10 note is clearly at the top of this one note sheet.
The $5 note is listed as Windsor 14 in the Coulter Reference. The Bank of Windsor was incorporated in 1818 and became insolvent in 1838. The note is unissued and has the imprint of "Patent Stereotype Steel Plate". The paper is thin but has a lot of crispness and grades Extremely Fine. This is a nice opportunity to own a very unusual Vermont obsolete.
The item will be shipped securely packaged. The optional insurance is available only to US addresses (and is at the actual Post Office rate).
