Very Nice Leica 200mm Telyt Lens for Visoflex - Boxed!

Offered in this auction is a used German-made Leitz Wetzlar 200mm Telyt 1:4 lens (#1753338). The Telyt is used on a Visoflex adapter with Leica M cameras. You would need an OUBIO adapter to convert this threaded lens to an M mount. I am listing one shortly in a separate auction. This lens belonged to my great uncle, who took meticulous care of his Leica equipment. The glass is excellent -- NO sign of dust, mold, blemishes, wipe-marks, etc. The black paint on the barrel shows a spot of wear and handling here and there. Otherwise it looks great!. The aperture ring is crisp and snappy, and the focussing ring turns smoothly. The lens hood is in very good condition and extends easily and stays in the position the shooter puts it in. The actual lens cap for the hood is metal and lined in part by red felt. It fits snugly. Of the items associated with the lens, the cap shows the most wear, with a chip or two to the black paint. I see brass beneath those chips. The integrity and fit of the cap are quite good. The rear of the lens is protected by a threaded metal cap. Everything comes in the Telyt's orginal, red, felt-lined box, also in very good condition. Trust me. This is a fine lens. I am selling it "as-is" and will not accept returns.
