This auction is for a very nice Western Electric Dial Candlestick Telephone.  This phone has the original black enamel finish, and has not been restored in any way.  The felt fabric on the bottom base is original and undisturbed.  the dial number plate is original and is the very scarce unnotched type.  the wiring insite the phone is as it was found.  The dial is the type with the external number stop mounted with two screws externally.  The number is "2AA".    This dial makes the desirable "click" sound when turning the dial to the fingerstop.The phone has an original bakelite mouthpiece with the star in the center.  there are not any chips or cracks on the mouthpiece. The receiver is complete and has no cracks or chips.  The back of the telephone perch is marked "51-AL".

This phone is totally original, and is in very good condition.  It is being sold as is  for a collectible or for display.
