Very Rare Faceted Gem BOLEITE - Mexico

Boleite is a rare halide mineral with a very distinctive and attractive color - a pure, deep indigo blue.  Familiar to mineral collectors for the box like crystals it is capable of forming, it is very rarely cut.  An excellent opportunity for the collector to pick up a sizable example of a difficult gem to locate.

This gem is totally natural and untreated.  Boleite has a hardness of 3 to 3 1/2 on the Moh's scale and is primarily a collector's gem.
