Exceptionally rare mouse fish spearing decoy carved by Donald Hoseney (1934-1988) of Washington, Michigan.Quoted from the October 1986 Hoseney Woodcarving catalogue, "The mouse decoy is 5 inches long, has a brown-black back and white belly, black glass bead eyes, leather ears and tail, mono whiskers and seperate front legs which are attached with brass "L" rig hardware. Lead weighted". Original unused condition with no parts missing. As the pictures show, this particular decoy is mostly brown with a cream colored belly. There are brownish spots on the belly and there are a handful of tiny digs on the top that probably weren't there originally. Carved in one piece. USPS Priority mail with delivery confirmation. NO reserve.
