Schuco Bears

The famous Schuco patented yes/no bear first appeared at a toy fair in Leipzig, Germany in 1921. The bear's head could be moved left to right and up and down by moving a lever in the tail. Six sizes were produced ranging from 25 to 60 cms and in different mohair fabric types. The four smaller sizes contained squeakers, His no longer works.      Bears like him often go for more than 1000.00 at auction.   He belonged to my mother and was the pride and joy of her collection.  She is gone now and while I hate to part with him I am now forced to.  He is in Excellent condition, his Arms and legs move well and his yes/no mechanism is in perfect working order.  He was kept in a glass cabinet for the last 50 years.  Collectors will know that this bear is a steal at the price I'm asking.  He is approx 23-25 cm covered in luxurious tan mohair and is truly in fantastic condition.   Thanks for bidding!
