Very Vintage Ianthe of England Silver Plate Candelabra

Listed here is a very vintage candelabra marked Ianthe of England.  Ianthe had a very unique design which is quickly recognized in this candelabra.

We gave this candelabra a quick polish.  A considerable amount of polishing will still need to be done. There is a considerable amount of black on the base that we could not polish away. We don't know if the candelabra will polish up more than what the photos show but it is such as distinctive piece that it would be worth the attempt or even better, a new plating to bring it back to its original beauty.

Other than the swirling design that connects the candle holders, it is classically simple but for tiny, tiny beading that accents the edges.  It measures 10" tall and holds three candles.  Quite a heavy piece.
