Black Victorian Sewing Box

Notions

Two cheribs adorn the top of this very old black paper composition sewing box.

The inside is lined with a gold colored fabric and edged with cording around the top.

An orinate metal latch is tarnished and is secured by an antique pin.

Back hinges are intacted and work fine.

The underside of this little box is covered with a light green paper ivy pattern with the number 8865 stamped on one edge.

Demensions:

9" long x 5 5/8" wide x 2 5/8" deep

Contents:

12 threads in various colors

1 "Stitchon" embroidered letter R

7 rolls of vintage trim

1 piece of red velvet ribbon

1 small ring with ribbon attached
