Victorian Hand Carved Solid Oak Mirror Back Sideboard Buffet
This ebonized solid oak buffet is very beautiful! The main
theme of the piece is "Lions" and you can see on the
handles and panels, there are lions. The paneled lions are hand
carved as are the drawers whose handles are lion heads. The
hardware on the panels is not original and was replaced with
lion handles also, but the locks underneath them are original.
Two shelves reside on either side of the rectangular beveled
mirror and next to the shelves are hand carved columns. The
carvings that decorate the rest of the buffet seem to look like
acanthus leaves and are very pretty. There is no key to this
buffet but that can easily be fixed by a keysmith near you!
This could be a self contained bathroom cabinet including mirror
if you already have something you love for your dining room.
