Victorian Dress Gown SASS Civil War Reenactment Costume

 Description

This elegant gown will be made custom for the winning bidder to your measurements!  The fabrics are cotton broadcloth, in your choice of two colors. 

The bodice has a modest, flattering v-neck edged, and long waistline for a slimming effect.  It is fully lined, and buttons down the front.  The faced collar folds back to show the contrasting color.

The fully lined sleeves are slim down the arm for ease of movement, with wide cuffs accented with buttons.

The very full skirt is gathered into an adjustable drawstring waistband to minimize bulk at the waistline.  It's full enough to go over even the fullest hoops, or can easily be worn without one.

At the conclusion of the auction, I will send the winning bidder a list of the measurements needed to complete the gown.  The gown will be finished and shipped within 3-4 weeks of receipt of color preferences and measurements. 

All garments are professionally constructed in a smoke free environment. All seams are finished and appropriate linings and reinforcements used to ensure that you are receiving a quality piece of clothing.

Shipping will be via either UPS or USPS Priority Mail. If you have special concerns or considerations with shipping please let me know prior to bidding. Faster/International shipping rates are available upon request.

PLEASE NOTE: Gowns are normally photographed over hoop skirts or farthinggales and a chemise, which are not included in the auction. I recommend Angel's Bridal on eBay for underskirts, and often have chemises listed which can be purchased separately from gowns.
