For sale is a fantastic reproduction dress for the late Victorian era - 1890s! The dress is two piece and is constructed of an authentic skirt and blouse. The dress was made with significant research to original patterns and photographs and would make a great addition to anyone looking to dress in that period for either theatrical performances or reenacting.
The outfit is constructed of 100% cotton materials, including a great yellow gingham pattern with white trim.
The skirt is made of two panels, with gathering at the rear, as was common during the period. The skirt has a 30" waist and is 40" in length. There is a small train to the rear of the skirt.
The blouse is fastened at the back and has fantastic leg-o-muttin sleeves, very popular for the era. The bust of the blouse measures approx. 40".
There is minor dirt at the hemline of the skirt from wear (particularly on the underside of the train) but otherwise there are no signs of wear on this very authentic outfit.
