Victorian dating from 1880 or earlier. The lid is veneered in flame mahogany with a holly and cubed ebony band .The front , back and sides are veneered in mahogany and it has a brass centre piece and matching key plate. French Polished by myself, by hand, the old fashioned way. Lined with a designer pale patterned peach paper which is perfect for the period.
