"Matilda"
Matilda is a lop earred bunny who enjoys Victorian clothing. She is wearing her favorite deep turquoise velvet dress with satin and lace trim. It makes her feel very elegant.
This is a new, hand-signed, fine art giclée print made from my original watercolor painting "Matilda". The image is approximately 5 1/4 x 7 3/8 inches on 8 1/2 x 11 inch 100% cotton archival-quality, acid-free, 300gsm weight fine art paper with a matte finish, using archival-quality pigment-based Epson UltraChrome ink. It is signed in pencil below the image, leaving a nice white border for ease in framing. It comes in a protective cello sleeve.

All of my giclées are individually handmade by me, one at a time, as they are ordered. They are never mass-produced. This is what this print might look like framed without a mat. (Mat and frame are not included.)
Giclée is a French word, pronounced "zhee-clay" and it means "that which is sprayed or squirted". It is a name that was adopted by the art industry to describe a new form of digital art print. A giclée is a copy of a work of art that is created by traditional means, such as a painting, which is then reproduced digitally on the computer, then printed via a very high quality inkjet printer. Giclées are valued because they can be made to look so much like the original piece of artwork, that it is often hard to tell the difference. I work very closely with my original paintings to ensure that each print it as close to the original as possible. I make these prints from start to finish. They are entirely handmade by me.
