Circa 1890 this wonderful Victorian Crescent Moon brooch features a row of 7 crisp hand cut paste stones (none have discolored) in varying sizes, all claw pronged, in an open-back setting, all retain their foil backs set in a lovely unmarked silver design of a row of sentimental hearts. Reflective of the Victorian's obsessive interest in astronomy and romance, this Victorian jewel retains its original c-clasp and t-hinge. In excellent condition!
