Offered is a lovely glass biscuit barrel with pewter top and and mountings. This is white glass that has been shaded green on the exterior with rose designs and hand painted details. The jar has a swing handle, pewter mounting and lid with decorative finial.
The jar measures 5 3/4" tall WITHOUT the lid. Including the lid this is about 8" long. The base is 3 5/8" across with the widest part of the body being 6" in diameter.
This is in good condition with no chips or cracks. The paint is in good condition with only one small spot where the green paint has rubbed. This was caused by the handle rubbing on the glass. This is less than 1/4" across. The mounting is fine(could use a polishing) but the lid has several small edge dents along the very edge. They really are not noticeable when the lid is in place.
This will ship USPS Priority at a 4 pound rate within the US. Insurance is required.
