Victorian / Edwardian Costume Dress Hat w Antique Trim

 This hat is breathtaking and it is a one of a kind creatively designed hat, capturing the eloquent fashion of our early ancestors. I made it for my cherished eBay customers and added vintage and antique trim. One side of the turned up rim is adorned with gorgeous copper beads and the centers of the flowers have white beads.
There is beautiful gathered, white lace encircling the rim of the hat. I used this vintage lace trim on the top and bottom and it has the perfect texture to gracefully fan out around the edges.
The hat is formed from high quality, brown felt and antique, handmade, gathered trim encircles the crown.
There are pink roses and rose buds placed behind the up-turned side of the hat and more luscious gathered lace encircles the crown. This lace has hand worked patterns of butterflies and other beautiful designs. It took many hours to make it and it is not machine lace.
I added four ostrich feathers. Three of them are gray with white highlights. Tucked behind two of the roses is a smaller, colorful feather, which adds highlights to the other colors in the hat, introducing even more Victorian charm. It has vibrant colors of teal blue and shades of brown and gray.
I choose a purple ostrich feather for the hat to contrast with the other colors carefully selected for the hat.
The hat is in excellent condition and it is quality made, with no holding back on expense and time required to create this treasure for the winning buyer.
The hat is specious on the inside and will easily fit a size 22" to 22 1/2" head.
This hat can be worn in so many different ways and to different events. By turning it to one side, it resembles a pirate hat, but it also can be positioned for the perfect Victorian or Edwardian hat.
This hat is beautiful and it is in excellent condition and ready for you to make a fashion statement. It can be worn to many different events. It will allow you to stand out in a crowd and receive many admiring glances.

International bidders due to the length of time it now takes USPS to make a First Class delivery I will need to ship my packages Priority mail. If you will request a shipping quote, I will email you one for your country.
Purchaser pays shipping and insurance. I try to keep my shipping cost down and I use recycled packaging material and do not charge a handling fee. I will ship other ways, but I must be contacted before a person bids, as my shipping rates for large items are cheaper with UPS. All packages are insured, if they are under 100.00 and this is included in the rate on my auction.
Texas residents without sales tax number pay 06.25%. Winning bidder must forward his or her name and address within three days after the auction closes.
Payment must be received within ten days.
I accept checks, money order, a wire transfer or Pay Pal.
Checks take 7 to 10 days to clear before item will ship.
U.S. shipping is with UPS. I will consider other methods of shipping upon request. Buyer pays all shipping charges and insurance.
