UP FOR AUCTION IS THE BEAUTIFUL AND VERY VICTORIAN RAG QUILT FOR BABY

The colors on this quilt are so softly blended. Cream fabric on the front compliments the beige scroll design on the fabric. I have used speckled blue fabric for the back of the quilt and the cut seams on the front expose this blue and it matches the blue daisies, ribbon and the picture frames on the fabric. The pink flannel matches the pink daisies and rose like flowers on the front as well as the picture frames. I have bordered the baby pictures (that are framed in blue and pink picture frames) around this quilt and have separated by them with pink to make them stand out. This would be perfect for any little (or big) girl. I have used 6 x 6 inch squares (81 x 3 = 243 cut squares in total). They have been put together in threes and sewn with an X for stability and then trimmed. All sewn together this is a large 45 x 45 inch quilt. A great size for baby well into toddler years - or perhaps draped over a chair in a Victorian setting. This quilt is very easy care - just machine wash and dry. I have washed and dried this quilt once to start the ragging process. This quilt will get softer with every washing. Please email me any questions you may have :)
