This is a Victorian two piece bedroom set from the American Renaissance Revival period of the 1860’s, consisting of a high back bed heavily carved and over layed in fancy Carpathian Elm, and burled walnut veneers.  The dresser is a marble topped, drop center dresser retaining the original marble, finish and Victorian hardware.   The bed stands 97 inches, while dresser stands 101 inches all made from solid walnut and select burled veneer overlays. Bed is 64 X 78 overall. 

 Dresser is 55 wide, 38 high to top of marble ends, 28 ½ high to the drop center, 21 deep.  Condition is very good.
