MEASUREMENTS EXPLAINED
· The garment is laid out on a flat surface.
· To get a bust/ chest measurement measure straight across, front side, from underarm to underarm and multiply by 2. (e.g. 22" x 2= 44" bust).
· Waist and hip measurements are made in the same manner at the appropriate locations.
· For the length, start at the shoulder seam and go straight to the bottom.
· If there is elastic in the waist of pants, skirt, etc., I will give you the unstretched measurement.
REMEMBER sizes vary according to location, era and maker. To be ABSOLUTELY certain this item will fit, choose one of your own similar garments that fits comfortably and measure it in the same way explained here and compare those dimensions.
You should be a little smaller than the measurements given to ensure a good fit! No cheating, as we don't accept returns if it does not fit! Occasionally dresses look like they can be easily altered, if you are close to a fit and HAVE to have it, e-mail and ask if I can see room to adjust
All items are vintage theater items and have been worn on stage. When applicable, the garment was cleaned and stored when a production ended. I am not always aware of when that was. All sales are final! I try to describe items as accurately as possible, so please ask questions before bidding. Also please be aware of disclosures and stated flaws or needed repairs before bidding. No Returns.
