Willimantic Thread shows us a fanciful "Horse Race," bodies of the horses being spools of thread. The horse that's way out front of course is powered by his Willimantic Thread Body. There is a grandstand in the background and the caption says "The peoples favorite hobby" The back tells us to "ask for it" at N. Winston & Sons, Merchants, Evansville, Wisconsin. Willimantic won "all" the honors at Atlanta in 1881. The back shows some discoloration, the front is very nice altho a few imperfections exist.
