I design and hand make hats inspired by the 1800s. I will soon be offering red hats also. I make my hats with materials of satin,linen,flax,silk,straw,cotton,laces,ribbons,straw and all of the beautiful trimmings I can find. Some of my fabrics are previously used but cleaned before use. This gives me a wide range of fabrics and ideas. There are never two alike. This particular Hat is a one size fits all. It was inspired by the Spoon Hat of the 1800s. It is in pink satin and the brim is in a matching fabric. There are rows of lace and a sea mist green trimming on the hat band area all the way to the back. There is lace around the edge of the bonnet and at the back of the neck area. There are liberal florals of pink roses and little white flowers and foliage on the brim. Inside the brim next to the face there is also a small arrangement of flowers. There is a double bow in sea mist satin at the back top of the hat. The ties are of the same sea mist satin ribbon.I hope someone will enjoy wearing this as much as I enjoyed creating it. :-) Please read before purchasing: I try my best to please my customers.
