VICTORIAN 1890 ERA SCRAPBOOK This beautiful scrapbook of 35 pages and over 200 pieces is in good condition for its age and comes from a smoke-free home. It measures 14 x 11 inches. The scrapbook itself is marked 1876 and features flowers and victorian designs with a beautiful lady on the cover. It contains a few trade cards from the Household Sewing Machine Company and many calling cards, rewards of merit cards, fronts of greeting cards, and scripture cards. It contains beautiful images of victorian children, flowers, and birds. There is an inscription in the inside front that reads, "Presented to Clara E Knox By her brother Henry J. Knox Dec. 25th, 1890. It would make a wonderful Christmas gift for someone who loves the victorian era since it has the Dec. 25th inscription. The pages have come loose from the spine and are somewhat brittle but still intact enough to handle and enjoy looking through. There are some loose images in the front of the album that maybe came unglued over time. I was not able to show pictures of every single page (fees add up), but tried to show you enough to give you a good picture of the scrapbook as a whole. It is a wonderful reminder of precious days gone by! Please let me know of any questions, and thanks for looking! |
