Comments - Terrific original Hiroshige landscape from his Hoeido Tokaido series. In the foreground, travelers cross a bridge at Kakegawa on a windy day, kites flying above. Workers toil in the rice paddies beyond and Mount Akiba rises in the distance. Beautiful fresh color and excellent detail in this handsome design. This is an incredibly low price for an original Hiroshige print from the Hoeido Tokaido - these prints are normally offered at $3,500 and up! The subject, in particular, is one of the finest from Hiroshige's masterwork Tokaido series. Bid now!

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Separated along vertical fold line in center with small losses at ends of fold line, small holes in bottom corners, repaired, blends well. Slight toning and soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
